Load I created MP mold .312 159 gas checked & powder coated Norma brass Federal GM210M H4895 27.0 Crimp at the groove Rcbs small base die set What I noticed was brass gets beat to heck and back. Heavy deflector damage to the side of the case and the extractor groove gets chewed up heavily with in 3 firings probably because of the platform itself. The AK uses steel cases for a reason and not just because it’s cheap. Had THE worst luck trying to get a Zastava Zpap m70 to print any kind of a decent group. I tried EVERYTHING this lead me down the road of chamber casting. Dude the chamber was a cip cut and thats all fine and good till I measured the bore and discovered it was .315 lol. I emailed Zastava and was told because MY rifle was a private purchase. All they would be willing to do for me is look at the rifle and charge me for any repairs. Mine you the gun was in 98% condition I placed it at 98% because I put 3 mags through it trying to find what it “liked” but at .315 bore I wasn’t going to find anything because all the ammo i could find was .310 as far as casting/powder coating I put some MP mold 159 .314 down that tube with lines and managed to get a 3” group at 50 yards. Remember those castings were unsized at .314 I probably could have gotten the group’s smaller if I could have found a .320 mold and sized down to .317 but NOBODY makes a mold like that and I would have had to have someone custom make one at that diameter. Smh Zastava is a joke there rifles are kinda junk in my opinion.

I love reloading Hornady sst bullets for my cz they are 308 bullets and my barrel is . 310 but I don't notice to much of a difference in accuracy. I only use them out to 200 yards

With a thousand ways to trim brass available, 70.00 plus 24.00 per bushing is not cheap and not price competitive. This is NOT the route I want to go. Nuff said.

Works as described and affordable. Very simple and just plain works for annealing brass.

I’ve Been trying to wrap my head around mils for months, and was on the verge of giving up and buying an MOA scope until you said “A MIL IS JUST 1/1000th of WHATEVER UNIT OF MEASURE YOU CHOOSE”. At 1000 yards a MIL is 1 yard. At 1000 feet a MIL is 1 foot. At 1000 meters a MIL is 1 meter. The rest is just simple math. Just take your distance and move the decimal 3 places. At 327 yards a MIL is .327 yards, which is 1/3rd of a yard, or 1 foot. Change to feet…no biggie. A 327 feet 1 MIL is .327 feet, or 1/3 of a foot, which is 4 inches. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

I assume this would work well for checking the carbon ring on the chamber end of a rimfire.

Hello from Poland! I have watched your entire 6.5 Grendel series. Very informative and interesting, although reloading powders available in Europe will be most likely limited to RS and VV (stupid EU policy). I'm planning to build a 6.5 Grendel or 6mm ARC upper myself. Not a popular choice of cartridges here, very few factory uppers are available. Not so many AR-15 barrels, either (BSF for 6mm ARC and Brownells / Satern Libery OEM for 6.5 Grendel). I will probably have to purchase a bbl + reamers, and do the job myself. It's been 4 years since your last video about 6.5 Grendel, and I am curious - are you still happy with the cartridge? Or, given choice 4 years ago, would you choose 6mm ARC instead?

I use BBs on the first wash before I decap. So much easier to deal with than pins.

Yes, I even got some once fired cleaned ready to load that once I loaded a few would not cycle through any of my .308 rifles ? Once I ran them all through a resizer had no more issues.

Yes, the chamber works like a sizing die. But what if it bumps the shoulders consistently? For example - I normally size my cases to 1.627", but occasionally a 1.628 or 1.629 slips through. However, when the rifle chambers these cases, it sizes them all down to 1.627. Wouldn't it be all right to assume - if it locked, then the size is correct for that particular rifle? Just curious, I'm only starting to understand how to reload for a precision gas gun.

I drilled shallow holes in the underside of the heavier cup until they were the same weight. You have to be careful to not drill through, obviously. I didn't like the idea of tape because dirt or powder could stick to the edges and change the weight.

I run my Frankford for 3hours I took a 5 gal bucket blue of course, drilled four holes right in the bottom corner opposite each other, then I draped a painters nylon paint screen in the bucket an draped over the outside of the bucket, I purchased the blue strainer with holes from the tumbler folks, so now when I dump the dirty water and pins in the strainer all the pins get rinsed through the strainer leaving the brass in the top of the strainer Rinse the brass thoroughly to remove the dawn and lemi this also washes the last of the pins down into the paint strainer in the bucket. Dump the brass on a towel and Simply move the paint strainer up into the separator which drains out the water from the pins. Clean pins and clean shiny brass inside and out.

Just took my Ruger precision rimfire 22lr out to the range for the first time. Found out it loves CCI mini mags and Aguila super extra high velocity. Both ammos grouped under 1 MOA at 50 yards. I’m very satisfied. CCI velocitors did not group very well but they do run hot. All chrono’d slightly above the printed fps on the box. One was 1489. Rippin! Winchester segmenting silvertips did horrible, but I think it was just poor consistency in the powder charge. Had some extreme flyers. Did not try any stingers as when I slid one into the chamber it would not fit all the way inside. CCI uppercuts same story. Case too long on both. Thats why theres a warning in the manual not to use them.

I’m excited to try this out. My RPRR shoots 3/8” - 7/16” groups with Eley Contact at 50 yards. I’m interested to see how this improves after the bedding, and properly torquing everything down.

So lemi shine just has some citric acid in it? Would a little bit of vinegar (acetic acid) do just as well?

I just bought the supplies to build this, and the link to the power supply was one I used several times. but what I received was an Arris adapter, right volts and amps, but would not fit into the power socket.

So strikefire 2 or Romeo 5? Looking to sight in around 50+ yards

I purchased the Sig Romeo5 and Juliet X3 Micro Magnifier from PSA and did not care for either (Red Dot looked feathered and the Magnifier had terrible eye relief) so I returned them and purchased Holosun HS510C & HM3X Combo, cost a little more but well worth the upgrade.

I’ve watched a handful of videos trying to figure out if I wanted a Mil scope or not. Coming from a military background all I’ve used is MOA. This is hands down the best in depth video I’ve seen. Great job on the explanation.

Or... you could put a shell holder in the jaws and you can lower the platform exactly where you need it.
